January 17: Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) has signed a bilateral agreement with Trade Promotion Council of India to promote trade between Nepal and India.
Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) reported that the agreement has incorporated issues like promoting trade between Nepal and India in the interest of both countries, increasing trade relations and sharing information regarding trade, commerce and investment.
According to NCC, the agreement also mentions about exchange of bilateral trade delegation as well as organizing international seminars to promote ‘trade mission’ in an effective way.
The NCC has so far signed agreements with 66 international chamber of commerce and industries of different countries with the objective of expanding international trade and bilateral relations.
NCC chair Rajesh Kaji Shrestha and the deputy director general of Trade Promotion Council of India signed the agreement in New Delhi on Tuesday, according to NCC Director Hari Prakash Chand.
