The Ncell Foundation on Monday, October 7, provided relief materials to around 200 families at five wards (Wards 4, 7, 8, 10, and 13) of Godawari Municipality, Lalitpur, severely affected by the rain-induced disasters in the last week of September.
The relief packages included essential items such as rations, kitchen utensils, hygiene kits, blankets, and floor mats, aimed at meeting the immediate needs of the affected individuals, Ncell said in a statement.
“At Ncell, we believe that in moments of natural disaster, it’s our duty to stand by our communities because we are all connected together for Nepal,” said Bishakha Lakshmi Khadka, Head of Corporate Communications and CSR at Ncell, in the statement.
Gajendra Maharjan, Mayor of Godawari Municipality said that relief provided by Ncell Foundation during such a difficult time was commendable.
Ncell employees personally delivered the packages in collaboration with Godavari Municipality and Karmayog Foundation, according to the statement.
