Combining the excitement of cricket with education, Ncell Foundation has pledged to provide educational kits to 2,612 students from community schools across Nepal as part of its ‘4 for 4s’ initiative. The program links the number of boundaries hit during the Nepal Premier League (NPL) to the number of kits donated, with four kits allocated for every four scored.
“This initiative is based on the 653 boundaries hit during the NPL season, which concluded on Saturday, December 21,” stated Ncell. “Each kit contains essential school supplies, including bags, notebooks, pencils, sharpeners, and erasers.”
“The NPL has been pivotal in nurturing Nepali cricketing talent,” said Bishakha Laxmi Khadka, Head of Corporate Communication and CSR at Ncell. “We are committed to collaborating with CAN, regional teams, and stakeholders to ensure the successful distribution of all 2,612 educational kits.”
To reach students effectively, Ncell has partnered with the Karmayog Foundation for distribution.
