Ncell said it has launched a ‘Sadhain ON Crorepati’ campaign, offering customers an opportunity to win a cash prize of Rs 10 million.
Moreover, every week, 10 lucky customers will win Rs 100,000 each, with the weekly prizes continuing for 12 weeks.
Additionally, every participating customer is guaranteed a sure-shot bonus including data, voice and digital service, according to Ncell.
The campaign began Sunday, June 15 and will run for a period of 12 weeks, following a Sunday-to-Saturday weekly cycle.
To be eligible to participate in the campaign, customers need to purchase any Ncell service/packs—be it a new SIM, data pack, voice pack, SMS pack, or a roaming pack or combo pack—worth Rs 99 or more.
“We are excited to roll out such a large-scale effort under our Sadhain ON initiative as part of our commitment to keep everyone connected. From a bumper prize of Rs. 1 Crore [Rs 10 million] to guaranteed bonuses, there’s something for everyone who participates in the campaign,” said Jabbor Kayumov, CEO of Ncell.
Customers can subscribe to Ncell services/packs by dialing *123#, visiting nearby authorised outlets or Ncell Centres, or using the Ncell App, Ncell website, or any Nepal-registered digital wallet or bank platform that supports Ncell top-up and pack purchases.
For every qualifying service/pack purchase of Rs. 99, customers receive 1 campaign ticket. If customers buy services/packs worth Rs. 499, they get five tickets. Higher the value of packs, higher is the probability to win. A link to check their tickets will be sent via SMS instantly to customers. They can check their tickets earned via Ncell App, dialing *9999# or typing 1 for the current week and 2 for the campaign period’s ticket and sending SMS to 9999.
Another interesting feature of the campaign is that purchasing a renewal or roaming service gives customers double the chance to win cash prizes, Ncell said, giving an example that a service or pack worth Rs 99 usually earns 1 ticket, but if it's a renewal or roaming service, it earns 2 tickets!
All prepaid, postpaid, and wire-free customers with a valid Nepali bank account and PAN number are eligible to participate. Postpaid users can join by staying active monthly or purchasing a new postpaid SIM. Tickets are automatically issued for every successful renewal.
Winners will be announced through a programme every Sunday evening, 6:30-7:00 PM via the Ncell YouTube, Ncell App and Kantipur TV throughout the campaign period. Ncell said it would directly contact winners to process the cash prize handover.
