Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), the national flag carrier of Nepal, has announced discounts of up to Rs 5,000 on international flights. The NAC shared this information through a press release issued on Thursday.
Passengers traveling to destinations in India, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore, can avail discounts of up to Rs 2,500. For other international sectors, including Doha (Qatar), Dubai (UAE), Dammam (Saudi Arabia), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Hong Kong, Bangkok (Thailand), and Narita (Japan), the discount extends up to Rs 5,000.
Tickets under this offer are available at Nepal Airlines' international ticket sales offices. The NAC noted that the fare reduction aligns with special instructions from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation to make air travel more affordable and competitive.
This move comes amid growing concerns about high airfares and increased scrutiny of airline pricing practices in Nepal. The discount is expected to benefit travelers significantly while promoting the use of Nepal Airlines' services for international travel.
