Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. (NSBL) has made a contribution of Rs 1 million to Lumbini Development Trust, Rupandehi under its CSR initiative.
The contributed amount would be utilized for the various ongoing conservation efforts by Lumbini Development Trust in the areas of environment protection, improving water supply, providing facilities to pilgrims and visitors and maintaining pathways, the bank said in a statement.
The contribution was formally handed over by Rama Mohan Rao Amara, Managing Director (International Banking, Global Markets & Technology), State Bank of India to Sanuraja Shakya, Member Secretary, Lumbini Development Trust, amid a program at the trust’s premises.
Jayati Bansal, Chairperson, NSBL, Ram Kumar Tiwari, Managing Director & CEO, NSBL, Ritesh Sinha, Director, NSBL, Bharat Raj Wasti, Director, NSBL, Apsara Upreti, Director, NSBL, Gopal Prasad Bhatta, Director, NSBL, Vikas Anand, Deputy CEO & Chief Operating Officer, NSBL, Rajesh Kumar Panda, Chief Financial Officer, NSBL and senior officials of the Lumbini Development Trust were present during the program.
The Bank has been rendering its banking services for the last 31 years. Currently, it operates through 100 branches, 22 extension counters, seven province offices, branchless banking, 125 ATMs and a corporate office.
