May 11: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) is starting online trading system within a few weeks. Since all the 16 model of online trading are on the last phase of completion, Nepse said it will test the online trading system within a few weeks. According to Niranjan Phuyal, deputy manager at Nepse, the system will be introduced after testing it properly and without distracting the investors.
With the implementation of the system, investors will get rid of the complex process of reaching to the brokers for secondary market transaction, said Nepse's Senior IT Officer, Niranjan Singh Nayak.
This system not only provides the service to the investors but also helps to include them in the capital market. Nepse believes that the system will contribute to the nation where the capital market is becoming a major part of economic development. The system is believed to lead the nation towards modernisation. Currently Nepse has been working in Automated Trading System.
