The National Forum of Photojournalists (NFPJ Nepal) and Binzhou Media Group, based in Shandong Province, China, have signed an agreement to strengthen cultural and professional ties in photojournalism.
NFPJ President Pradeep Raj Onta and Binzhou Media Group Director Zhao Jingyuan exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the purpose during a ceremony in Binzhou.
The MoU aims to foster collaboration by facilitating media content exchange and enhancing the professional skills of photojournalists from both organizations.
Speaking at the event, Zhao expressed optimism about the agreement’s potential to promote the culture and tourism of Nepal and China through news media, complementing existing media agreements between the two nations.
Onta echoed Zhao’s sentiments, highlighting that the partnership deepens the friendship between the organizations.
The ceremony was attended by notable figures, including Li Zhenping, President of the Binzhou Photographer Association; Su Xue, Vice President and Senior Photographer; and NFPJ Vice President Sunil Sharma, along with other photojournalists.
The NFPJ delegation was also given a tour of Binzhou Media Group’s radio museum and television broadcast facilities, guided by Director Zhao.
Binzhou Media Group is the largest media organization in Binzhou.
