November 14: NIC ASIA Bank said it has launched a first-of-its-kind saving account in Nepal with an exceptional facility of opening an account through online portal.

Issuing a press statement, the bank said that the ‘NIC ASIA Online Bachat Khata’ is a complete financial solution to the Nepali citizens within and beyond the country who wish for self-service options to instantly open their account from their own locations.

This innovative product comes with attractive features of zero minimum balance and generation of account number in a single sitting, the statement reads.

The bank said that the customers can easily open NIC ASIA Online Bachat Khata at their convenience by filling an online application form placed on the bank’s website. They can also instantly get their account number after submitting the required details in the online account opening form and start depositing money in their accounts.

Currently, NIC ASIA Bank has been providing customer oriented and quality banking services through its network of 136 branches, four extension counters with 141 ATMs, 3 branchless banking locations and more than 450 POS machines to its more than 650,000 customers.
