The Salt Trading Corporation (STC) has assured the public of sufficient sugar supplies during the ongoing festive season. According to the start-owned STC, it has already started additional imports of sugar to meet the increased demand.
On Wednesday, the STC imported 2,200 sacks of sugar, each weighing 50 kilograms, to its warehouse in Birgunj from India.
The imports are ongoing, and the STC has guaranteed that there will be no sugar shortage during Dashain, Tihar, Nepal Sambat, and Chhath festivals. -- RSS
