April 11 : Nepal Telecom (NTC) has announced to sell SIM cards with data package to the SLC appeared students starting from Monday, April 11. As per the offer, students can buy SIM cards having Rs 50 talk value and 300 MB data at Rs 90. According to NTC, the data can be used at 50 MB per month up to six months after the activation of the card.  
 
According to the telecom service provider, the offer has been introduced as mobile service has gained immense attraction from students and youths along with the growing use of internet facility through the mobility service.  Under the scheme, student are required to present the photocopy of SLC entrance card, photocopy of their own or parent's citizenship or the photocopy of any identity certificate issued by the government. The scheme will be valid till July 15.
