The parliamentary Hearing Committee has approved the names of proposed ambassadors for 16 countries.
The committee meeting on Thursday (September 19) consented to the names, through a majority.
However, the committee did not provide its consent to Ram Krishna Bhattarai, proposed ambassador nominee to Sri Lanka, citing unavailability of necessary documents, committee member Mahesh Bartaula told RSS, the state-owned news agency.
