Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has revised fuel prices, increasing the price of petrol while reducing the prices of diesel and kerosene. The new rates will take effect from Sunday, February 16.
Under the adjustment, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 1 per liter, while diesel and kerosene prices have each been reduced by Rs 4 per liter.
As a result, petrol will now cost Rs 165.5 per liter in the first category, Rs 167 per liter in the second category, and Rs 168 per liter in the third category.
Similarly, diesel and kerosene prices are now set at Rs 153.5 per liter in the first category, Rs 155 per liter in the second category, and Rs 156 per liter in the third category.
NOC has categorized its distribution depots into three groups: Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj fall under the first category; Surkhet and Dang in the second; and Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal in the third.
