A strategic meeting aimed at promoting tri-nation tourism between Nepal, India, and China was held in New Delhi, India. The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter announced in a press statement on Sunday that the meeting focused on fostering cooperation and partnerships with the Indian business community to ensure the success of the upcoming Nepal-India-China Expo (NICE). The event is scheduled to take place in Pokhara from February 24 to 26.
According to PATA Nepal Chapter, NICE is a pioneering tri-nation tourism expo that will unite public and private sector stakeholders from Nepal, India, and China on a single platform. The expo aims to offer exceptional networking and business opportunities while providing valuable industry insights and inspirational experiences for participants.
Suresh Singh Budal, CEO of PATA Nepal Chapter, and Upal Majumdar, NICE’s goodwill ambassador for India, held discussions with prominent tourism entrepreneurs in New Delhi to ensure the effective execution of the event. The participating organizations and representatives pledged their support for Nepal’s initiative to enhance tourism and strengthen cross-border cooperation in the sector.
This meeting in New Delhi follows Budal’s promotional visit to China in December, where he consulted with the Chinese business community to build momentum for NICE. -- RSS
