Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (SCBNL) has opened two new branch offices, each in Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The one in Karnali was inaugurated in Birendranagar, Surkhet on Saturday, October 5, while another in Sudurpaschim was brought into operation in Dhangadhi, Kailali, on October 6, the bank said in a statement.
With these latest openings, SCBNL has extended its operations to all seven provinces of Nepal.
Maha Prasad Adhikari, Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, virtually inaugurated the branches.
Anirvan Ghosh Dastidar, CEO of SCBNL, said the offices were committed to delivering quality financial services to local businesses and customers.
The ceremony in Birendranagar saw a presence of Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning of Karnali Province Rajeev Bikram Shah, while the member of SCBNL's Board of Directors Siddhant Raj Pandey represented both events.
