October 6:  Niraj Shrestha has been appointed as the new CEO of Machhapuchhre Bank. The Board of Directors (BOD) meeting of the bank appointed Shrestha in the post on October 3. According to the bank, the tenure of newly appointed CEO Shrestha will be of four years starting from October 14. Earlier, he served as Deputy CEO of Global IME Bank and CEO of Ace Development Bank. He started his banking career in 1989 from Standard Chartered Bank (then Grindlays Bank).
