December 15: Sunrise Bank, Siddhartha Bank, Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank and Janata Bank under the initiation of Sunrise Bank is providing consortium loan to 10MW Langtang Khola Hydropower project. The hydropower project is being developed in Safrubesi VDC of Rasuwa district.

Multi Energy Pvt Ltd promoted by Krishna Acharya Group is developing the project which is scheduled to complete within three years. The project is estimated to cost Rs 2.17 billion in which the banks are financing nearly 1.6 billion.
