The British College (TBC) has received an official approval as a Recognised Teaching Centre for the University of London’s (UOL) MSc Professional Accountancy programme.
Issuing a press statement, the college said that the achievement underscores TBC’s commitment to offering world-class education in professional accountancy and solidifies its standing as a premier institution in Nepal.
“In collaboration with The British Professional College, a Platinum Approved Learning Partner (ALP) of ACCA, TBC will now offer students the opportunity to pursue the MSc Professional Accountancy, a globally recognised qualification that aligns with the dynamic needs of the accounting profession,” reads the statement.
“This master’s programme offers a distinctive opportunity for aspiring accountants to obtain a comprehensive qualification that seamlessly integrates both theoretical knowledge and practical skills,” the statement quotes Prof. Mary Bishop, Executive Principal of The British College, as saying. “It provides an advanced understanding of financial management, strategic decision-making, and professional ethics, equipping students to thrive in the competitive global marketplace.”
Among the programme highlights are: Global recognised professional accountancy programme; flexible learning options with a blend of online learning resources from the University of London, combined with in-person academic support at The British College; advanced curriculum; and expert faculty, according to the statement.

The programme is designed for individuals who hold a professional accountancy qualification from an accredited institution. Eligible applicants include members of leading accountancy bodies such as: Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, FCCA), Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) (ACMA, FCMA, CGMA), Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) (CPFA, CIPFA - PQ), Chartered Professional Accountants Canada (CPA Canada) (CPA), CPA Australia (CPA, FCPA), and Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) (ACA and FCA), reads the statement.
Founded in 2011, The British College offers internationally recognised qualifications across various academic and professional disciplines.
