Software-related issues at the Department of National ID and Civil Registration (DoNIDCR) have disrupted key services since early Tuesday, affecting the issuance of national ID cards, vital event registration, and work related to social security allowance distribution.
In an official notice, the department’s National ID Management Section stated that the National ID Management Information System (NIDMIS) server is currently undergoing maintenance, causing interruptions in data collection and card distribution services.
Officials have not provided a specific timeline for the system’s restoration. “The department is actively working to resolve the issue and restore services at the earliest,” the notice read.
