August 17: Mega Bank has started three new branchless banking facilities under its service extension plans. The bank said in a statement that it has opened the branchless banking service in Champadevi of Kritipur Municipality, Jhor of Tokha Municipality and Ramkot of Nagarjun Municipality.

Ramesh Maharjan, mayor of Kritipur Municipality, and Dambar Bahadur Shrestha, coordinator of the branchless counter of Mega Bank, jointly inaugurated the facility in Champadevi. Similarly, Mohan Kumar Basnet, mayor of Nagarjun Municipality, inaugurated the branchless facility in Ramkot and Shree Krishna Adhikari, chairman of ward number 1 of Tokha Municipality, inaugurated the branchless service in Jhor.
