September 2: Yeti Airlines has started Bharatpur-Pokhara-Bharatpur flights from Sunday, September 1. The direct flight between the two tourist destinations is not only expected to boost tourism but also reduce the airfare significantly.
According to Anup Dhakal, Bharatpur branch manager of Yeti Airlines, the company’s aircraft left Pokhara at 10.50 am for Bharatpur on Sunday. The aircraft returned back to Pokhara from Bharatpur at 11.30 am.
The company has started direct flights between the two cities with its 30-seater Jetstream aircraft, added Dhakal.
The company has set the airfare at Rs 2500 per person.
The company said it started the direct flights connecting the two tourist destinations keeping in mind the Visit Nepal Year 2020.
Earlier, Buddha Air alone had been operating direct flights between the two cities. The price of one-way ticket of Buddha Air is Rs 3800.
