Goenka Group

Goenka Group has announced that its cement factory at Bhairahawa is planning to start commercial production of “Goenka Cement” by December. The group has been in the construction material industry for the last three decades and the cement factory set up with the investment of Rs. 550 million is the latest addition in its portfolio. The factory is planning to produce 400 metric ton of cement in the fi rst year of operation. Initially the factory will bring clinker from India to manufacture 53 Grade and 43 Grade cement. The factory will employ 100 persons, says the group.
