GO Automobiles (P) Ltd., a subsidiary of Golchha Organization, has launched four models of cars from US automobiles giant the Ford by opening a specialized outlet called Go Ford. Among them is the Ford Figo hatchback, which is the fi rst small car from Ford stable. Also launched is Ford Fiesta which is a sedan. Both of these will come to Nepal from Ford’s Indian subsidiary. The company has also launched Ford Ranger (a pick up) and Ford Everest (a SUV) that come from Thailand. The company has set up a world class service centre at Sitapaila promising 24 hour service for Ford vehicles. The Ford vehicles are priced between Rs 1.75 million and 5.6 million in the Nepali market. Lok Manya Golchha, the Chairman of Golchha Organisation, says 100 units of Ford were sold in Nepal even before the formal launch of the dealership.
