Sapkota Urges Poll-opposing Parties Not To Challenge People’s Right

UCPN (Maoist) spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota has said that no one has right to obstruct the upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) polls.

At a regular weekly press meet organized at the party headquarters, Paris Danda, Saturday morning, Sapkota said that the nationwide anti-poll activities carried out by the CPN-Maoist were illegal. He also urged the agitating parties not to challenge the people´s right by conducting the anti-poll campaigns.

Sapkota said that imposing strikes and thrashing the candidates of the UCPN (Maoist) and other political parties were undemocratic and asked the government to control such activities.
