NEPSE Registers Minimal Gain of 3.93 Points to Close at 2113.27

May 27: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index witnessed a minimal gain of 3.93 points, equivalent to 0.18%, closing at 2113.27 on the second trading day of the week, Monday.

During today’s trading session, 317 scrips were traded on the NEPSE through 58,483 transactions. A total of 9,330,295 shares changed hands, resulting in a total turnover of Rs 3.89 billion.

NRN Infrastructure and Development Fund Limited (NRN) led with the highest turnover of Rs 20 crores. Muktinath Krishi Company Limited (MKCL) and Nepal Warehousing Company Limited (NWCL) each gained 10% and hit the positive circuit for the day.

Conversely, Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited (BNHC) saw the maximum loss of 10%, closing at a market price of Rs 648 per share.

In terms of sector indices, all sectors closed in the green territory except for the Banking Index, Hotels and Tourism Index, and Non-Life Index.
