The Second City REBAN (Restaurant and Bar Association of Nepal) Festival is scheduled to be organized in Pokhara from November 27. At a press meet held Friday, it was announced that the festival will begin on 27th November and will continue till the 8th of December. According to KP Sharma, the president of REBAN, the festival aims to promote tourism, social welfare, consumers’ welfare and local culture. The major attractions of this festival are food competition, national level folk songs competition, dance competition among housewives, display of domestic products, and consumer goods, children’s park and musical performances among others. A total of 130 stalls including 110 by different business houses, 12 restaurants, and eight social, health and security organizations will be in the festival. The organizers expect 200,000 visitors in the festival.
