The foundation stone of Central Business Park was laid in Thapathali of Kathmandu on Saturday. Spread over an area of five ropanies of land, the park will have a 10-storey air-conditioned building with amenities of global standard. The project is being promoted by Clean Developers Group and managed by Clean Energy Development Bank. The building will be very suitable for corporate offices, according to the promoters.
The construction of the park is planned to be completed within 18 months. This is the second venture of the group after the success of Central Park Housing in Bishalnagar. The park is expected to address all problems related to space, power-cut, parking and security being faced by Nepal’s corporate world. Speaking at the programme, Sanjay Ladsaria, Executive Director of Clean Developers said, “The park will be useful for banks, insurance companies and other corporate offices.†The project is registered with US Green Building Council for LEED certification and is expected to save energy and water consumption.
