Government trying to find alternative for easing supply

November 21: Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation has said the government was trying to find an alternative to normalise the supplies of daily essentials affected with India's blockade on the country.

Speaking at a public programme in the capital Saturday, Minister Pokhrel insisted on the promotion of the use of e-vehicles to minimise the fuel consumption.

The Tourism Minister viewed that the inner settlements of the Kathmandu Valley carry a significant value in terms of culture and such sites need to be protected and promoted.

He stressed the need that the country switched into the use of smokeless vehicles for the environmental protection. RSS
