March 23: Police have arrested an 18-year-old youth on charge of hacking various government websites using alias “Anonymous #Opnep”.
The Nepal Police Crime Division, Teku, on Wednesday arrested one Bikash Poudel, a permanent resident of Bandipur in Tanahun, from Sorhakhutte, for illegally breaching websites of various organizations.
The police have claimed that the accused has infringed over 200 websites of various organisations and schools including National Tuberculosis Centre, Cottage and Small Industries Office websites among others, accessing its details. RSS
