JICA Nepal’s new chief representative appointed

March 25: Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Nepal has appointed Jun Sakuma as the new chief representative of JICA Nepal Office. Sakuma has taken over the job from Tsutomu Shimizu, who completed his tenure in Nepal this month.

Before joining Nepal Office, Sakuma was working as executive advisor to the director general and deputy director general for Planning and ASEAN Partnership, Southeast Asia and Pacific Department in JICA. He started his career in JICA in 1989. He is experienced in several departments at JICA, including planning, project formulation, social development and personnel department.
