Hero Duet VX Launched in Nepal

 April 7 : Hero MotoCorp has unveiled Duet VX scooter in Nepal. The new scooter is being distributed by Nepal General Marketing, the authorised dealer of Hero two-wheelers in Nepal. The 111cc metal body scooter was launched in the domestic market amid a function held in Kathmandu on April 6. Priced at Rs 171,500, Hero Duet VX comes with a 111-cc air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder OHC engine, producing a maximum power output of 8.31 BHP at 8000 RPM and maximum torque of 8.3 Nm at 6500 RPM. The scooter is built with the sturdy and durable metal body and features external fuel filling, under-seat mobile charging port, remote seat opening and fuel-lid opening, boot light, service due indicator, side stand indicator, twin parking lamps, boot-light in the glove box among others. According to the company, it incorporates the integrated braking system – a two-wheeler technology developed and patented by HMCL - coupled with Telescopic Front Suspension offers riding comfort and improved stability.  

“Hero MotoCorp develop products that have global relevance, just like Duet scooter which has been designed for the entire family and offers a great combination of style, performance and safety,” said Deepak Mokashi, Head of Global Business, Hero MotoCorp. The scooter comes in candy blazing red, pearl silver white, grace grey, nature green, panther black and vernier grey (non-metallic) colours.
