Panchakanya Group’s Initiative to make Footpaths Greener

April 24: Panchakanya Group has started a campaign to make the footpaths of Kathmandu Valley Greener. Marking the occasion of the World Earth Day, the Group in association with Kathmandu Metropolitan City began the project under its corporate social responsibility. Vice President of Panchakanya Group, Dhruv Kumar Shrestha and Rudra Singh Tamang, Executive Officer of Kathmandu Metropolitan City jointly inaugurated the campaign.

In a bid to decrease the rapid environmental degradation, the Group started first stage of plantation of trees in Lalitpur sub metropolitan area. Similarly, the group has planted trees in Brikutimandap, Durbarmarg, Tripureshwor, Singhadurbar and Lainchour.
