April 25: China Southern Airline (CSAIR) is going to resume its flight operation in Nepal. CSAIR has informed, in its press release, that it is going to operate flights Guangzhou-Kathmandu-Guangzhou from 26 April. CSAIR will be operating 3 flights a week and soon plans to increase their flights to 7 flights a weeks to 14 flights a week. The company had discontinued the flights operation due to fuel crisis in Nepal from 29 September.
CSAIR, headquartered in southern Chinese city Guangzho, is the largest network in China with extensive global network. According to the press release, China Southern operates 2000 daily flights to 190 destinations in 40 countries and regions across the world. Through close cooperation with its SkyTeam member airlines, CSAIR’s network spans 1052 destinations to 177 countries and regions.
As per the press release, the airline fleet is ranked the first in Asia and the fifth in the world. China Southern Airlines is the first airline in the world to operate both A380 and 787.
