April 29: Chinese smartphone maker Gionee is planning to launch Marathon M5 Plus smartphone in the Nepali market very soon.
According to the company, M5 Plus, the new edition of Gionee’s big battery Marathon series, has full metallic and ultra-slim body design. The new handset is powered by 1.3 Ghz quard-core processor and sports a 6 inch full-HD Amoled display alongside a 13 MP rear and a 5 MP front camera.
The new Gionee smartphone boasts 5,020 mAh battery, dual charging chip that provides quick charging, 3 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory along with type-C USB. Additionally, the phone also has the facility to expand storage up to 128 GB memory through SD card.
The M5 also has finger print scanner for security purpose. As per the company, the phone operates on 3.1 Amigo, Android 5.1 based Gionee’s own operating system. Marathon M5 Plus also has reverse OTG charging feature by which other phones can also be charged from this smartphone. The handset will be available in Champagne Golden color.
