Aarambha Microfinance to Open New Branches

May 9: Aarambha Microfinance has concluded its first AGM on Saturday. The AGM has endorsed Chairman’s report and financial report of FY 2071/72, appointment of accountant for FY 2072/73 and stipend of appointed accountant. The meeting has also selected members of board of directors from the election of promoter shareholders.

Operating in 10 hilly districts of Eastern and Central Development Region, the microfinance has Rs 10.2 million in paid-up capital. Currently, the microfinance is preparing to expand additional 7 branches from existing 6 branches.

In the occasion, the microfinance informs of providing microfinance services to 1300 households investing Rs 30 million in loans and collecting Rs 1.2 million in deposit.
