May 30: National Hydropower, is conducting annual general meeting within the end of the current fiscal year. According to the press release issued by the company, the company now can conduct AGM after the decision of Appellate Court on May 23 that has ended all the other lawsuits. The press release also informs that the restraining order submitted by Deepak Karki and Yogendra Rai to postpone the special general meeting has been cancelled by the court.
“With the end of all legal hurdles, there are no problems in share transactions and all shares have been D-matted,” says Bishshewor Subedi, Director of the company. The company has mentioned that outstanding payment will be made in instalment to internal revenue and Sunkoshi project that's license has been cancelled by Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) will be revised.
