June 3: Special General Meeting (SGM) of Sunrise Bank has endorsed a proposal for acquisition of Narayani National Finance. The program was chaired by the Motilal Dugar, Chairman of the bank.
On the occasion of the SGM, the bank informed that it will submit a proposal regarding the acquisition in Nepal Rastra Bank for final approval. The bank has planned of starting joint transaction from the end of this fiscal year after obtaining the final approval from NRB. The bank will have Rs 4 billion operating capital and 67 branches after the acquisition.
