Sunrise Bank Starts Branchless Banking in Bandungrisen

June 13: Sunrise Bank Limited (SBL) has started branchless banking service in Banlek-1 Bandungrisen, Doti. “This is the fifth branchless banking service of the bank,” informed the bank in a press statement. The service was inaugurated by Laxmikanta Rosyar, Secretary of Banlek VDC on June 11.

Speaking on the inauguration program Rabina Acharya, Chief Marketing Manager of the bank highlighted on the aim of branchless banking service. Similarly, Acharya handed over the point of sale machine to representative of branchless banking service, Sher Bahadur Balayer.“ With the help of this machine, the financial transactions can be done in the places without the branch under branchless banking service,” reads the statement.  Currently, the bank has been providing services through 53 branch and 67 ATMs.
