NIBL Supports the Construction of ‘Pashupati Museum’

July 4: Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIBL) will support in the maintenance of Mahasnan Ghar (The Great Bath House) and develop it as ‘Pashupati Museum’. “The bank has signed an agreement with Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) under its "People's involvement and Development" program,” informs the bank in a press statement. Jyoti Prakash Pandey, CEO of NIBL and  Dr Govinda Tandan, Member Secretary of the Trust signed on this effect on behalf of respective institutions on July 3.

The southern and western sides of Mahasnan Ghar (The Great bath house) were damaged during the devastating earthquake of April 25 and May 12, 2015. According to the agreement, the reconstruction of the Mahasnan Ghar will be accomplished within a year and the development of the museum will come into operation within 3 years.

As per the agreement, NIBL will provide a financial aid of Rs 10 million per annum totaling Rs 30 million in 3 year's time. “NIBL has been actively involved in resurrection and reconstruction of Pashupati area whereby they have reconstructed and maintained the area of Pashupati Aryaghat,” informed the trust.
