Tax Education for Dhankuta Entrepreneurs

July 6: Industrial entrepreneurs of Dhankuta has been given orientation education about tax and monitoring system in order to bring them into tax circumference. The program was jointly organized by Dhankuta Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Dhankuta Municipality and Taxpayer service office with the support of District administration office, Dhankuta and Auditors Association, Dhankuta.

“The program was organised to bring everyone into tax circumference using the opportunity of special tax discount brought by the government for mid July,”  informs Umesh Ghimire, President of Dhankuta Chamber of Commerce and Industries. The training about tax, Pan and VAT in the orientation was provided by Peshal Neupane, Head of Taxpayer Service Office. Similarly training about market monitoring system was provided by Hitesh Basnet Branch Manager of District Administration Office and training on house reinstated tax and tax collection was provided by Raju Guragain, Accounting Officer of Dhankuta Municipality.

According to the report provided by Taxpayer service office, total number of people paying tax in Dhankuta is 11,844.
