Butwal Power Company to Increase Issued Capital

July 12: Special general meeting (SGM) of Butwal Power Company under the chairmanship of Padhya Jyoti, Board of Director (BOD) Chairman of the Company has decided to increase its issued capital to Rs 2.10 billion. Presently, the issued capital of the company is Rs 1.67 billion. Similarly, the SGM has also decided to issue new shares in order to maintain the share proportion of general shareholders to 30 percent of the issued capital. Issuing a press statement the company informed that 5 percent of it will be provided to affected locals of Adhikhola Hydropower center and Jhimruk Hydropower center.
