Price of Gold Sets New Record, Reaches All-Time High of Rs 153,000 Per Tola

The price of gold reached an all-time high of Rs 153,000 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market on Wednesday following the rise in price of gold in the international market.    
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, hallmark gold is being traded at Rs 153,000 per tola on Wednesday. Its price increased by Rs 800 per tola compared to the previous day. This is so far the highest price for gold in the domestic market.    
Similarly, the price of silver rose by Rs 15 per tola on Wednesday compared to the previous trading day when it was fixed at Rs 1,835. -- RSS
