Gold, Silver Prices Up by Rs 1,000 and Rs 35 Per Tola

The price of gold surged by Rs 1,000 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market on Sunday. 

Fine gold, which was traded at Rs 151,400 per tola on Friday, is now being traded at Rs 152,400 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.

Similarly, silver also became dearer by Rs 35 per tola on the day, to be traded at Rs 1,850 per tola.
