Gold Price All Time High for Second Day in a Row

Gold price has set an all time high record for the second day in a row in the domestic market.

The precious yellow metal became dearer by Rs 100 on Thursday, taking the price of hallmark gold to Rs 153,200 per tola (11.66 grams) to break the record set on Wednesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association. 

On Wednesday, the price had surged by Rs 800 per (11.66 grams) to be traded at Rs 153,100 per tola .

Earlier on August 21, gold price touched the Rs 153,000 per tola-mark for the first time in Nepal.

On the contrary, the silver price has become cheaper by Rs 25 per tola to be traded at Rs 1,830 per tola.
