Guide killed, Forest Guard and American Tourist Injured in Rhino Attack

A guide was killed while two others – a forest guard and an American tourist – were injured in a Rhino attack at the Dalla Community Forest within the buffer zone of the Bardiya National Park on Friday (September 6).

The incident occurred at Madhuban Municipality-1 in the morning.

Man Mohan Chaudhary, 35, a nature guide from Thakurbaba Municipality-9 of the same district, died on the spot, according to Min Thapa Ward Chair at Madhuban Municipality-1.
 
The injured were MC Lyndon Shawn, 56, an American national, and Khinchu Chaudhary, 58, a forest guard. The condition of Chaudhary is normal and Shawn was being treated at Thakur Baba City Hospital, Bhurigaon, police said.
