NAC increases flights to Dang Targeting Dashain Passengers

The Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has announced that it would operate flights to Tarigaun Airport in Dang district on Tuesdays as well, besides its regular flights on Fridays.

Bal Bahadur Sunar, Station Manager at the NAC Dang Office, said that the NAC will operate its flights twice a week from the coming week.

The decision was made targeting the Dashin festival, Sunar added. Dashain, this year, begins on October 3. 

During this time of year, domestic carriers experience a surge in passenger volume as people visit family and relatives to celebrate the festival or travel to various destinations to enjoy the holidays.
