Crossmandu National Championship on 6 August at Tinkune

July 27: Nepal Motorcycle Federation-NMF is conducting Crossmandu National Championship 2016, a technical training based championship on August 6 at Tinkune, Kathmandu. Issuing a press statement, it has been informed that the championship is being organised under the supervision of trained marshals where 30 Off-road dirt bike riders upto 250cc will be showing their riding skills on 550mtrs off-road tracks.  The riders will be provided basic technical training & guidance.

 “In lieu to growing interest towards Off Road Bikes, AsiaWing Crossfire motorcycle as main sponsor is contributing to develop motorsports in Nepal.  Other contributors as sponsor includes UM Motorcycle, TVS Tyres, Red Bulls & promotional, magazine, event & travel partners as Nepalauto info, Automobile Monthly, Nepal Culture & Adventure Events & Foot mark Travel & Adventures respectively. Event supported by Kathmandu District Development Committee and Nepal Automobiles' Association NASA,” reads the statement.

“Events like Crossmandu will definitely give Nepalese riders chance to quench their thirst for off-road race, can win cash prices & a platform to participate at international level,” said Santosh Nyaupane, Event Manager.  'Nepal is a country with mostly tough terrains & event like this will definitely promote National tourism' – he added.
