With the improvement in weather across the country on Sunday, domestic flights have resumed from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and eight other airports across the country.

According to TIA General Manager Jagannath Niraula, flights operating under the Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) have been permitted until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday night.

Over 400 flights were canceled on Friday and Saturday due to poor weather conditions.

TIA typically handles around 150 to 160 flights daily. Regular flights have resumed at all airports except Surkhet, Niraula added. -- RSS
