August 5: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) will be resuming its flights to Dubai after four years from August 18. The corporation aims to provide service to 40,000 passengers and generate income of Rs 1 billion annually. Speaking in a press conference conducted by the company, Sugat Ratna Kansakar, Managing Director of NAC informed to make flights competitive in the international market.
According to the corporation, the flights are aimed to provide services to the Nepali workers in Dubai as Dubai has been prime gate way to Europe and America. The airlines has planned to operate three days per week flights on Dubai-Kathmandu route. The flight duration of Kathmandu-Dubai is 4 hours 40 minutes where as Dubai-Kathmandu is 4 hours 15 minutes. The number international destinations of NAC will reach eight after operating its flights to Dubai.
