Nepal and China signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday to enhance cooperation in eight areas, including trade promotion and technical assistance, during a ceremony attended by the prime ministers of both nations.
Officials of Nepal and China signed the MoU at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing following a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Chinese Premier Li Qiang.
The Chinese People's Liberation Army presented a guard of honour to Prime Minister Oli before the meeting.
Prime Minister Oli, leading the Nepali delegation, arrived in Beijing on Monday for a four-day official visit to China. -- RSS
